Car
From Bangkok, take the so-called Motorway through Chonburi, Sri Racha, Laem Chabang then turn left to access highway no.3 heading through Rayoung, Chantaburi and to Trad. 30 KM before you reach Trad, there is a very big billboard showing the way to Ao Thammachart Port.
Ao Thammachart Port is the biggest gateway to Koh Chang with a gigantic ferry service on which you may take your car or even a coach.
It takes you around 3 - 3.5 hr to get to the port and the ferry may take you 40 - 45 minutes to Koh Chang.
Coach
You may choose a departure station on your preference, from Ekamai and Mo Chit. Both take you 4 - 5 hr depends on traffic condition.

Ferry & Speedboat
- Ferry service operates daily by every 30 minutes. This may take you 45 minutes from Ao Thammachart Port to Koh Chang Centre Port.
- Driving is permitted on Koh Chang.
